With a view to develop skill sets for the contract law and allied negotiations among the executives of PSUs and other organizations, a three day workshop on Contract Law, Negotiations and Management was organized by Goa Shipyard Ltd  in association with National Law School of India University (NLSU), Bangalore at International Centre Goa . The programme was inaugurated on 30.08.2012 by RAdm.Vineet Bakhshi, VSM, Chairman & Managing Director GSL in the presence Dr.  O. V. Nandimath of NLSU, Cmde. P.K.S Shrivastava,VSM  Director (CPP&BD) and Shri P. M. Johri, CGM (Pers. & Admn.) GSL. 

 A total of 35 Senior Officers from the Public Sector Undertakings  and other Govt Organizations like Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited, Cochin Shipyard Limited,  Mazgaon Dock Limited, Naval Head Quarter, New Delhi, Indian Coast Guard, New Delhi attended the programme. 

The workshop which was well received by the participants highlighted various aspects of the Contract Law.
