The ship is a single Decker, machinery arranged at mid ship & all accomodation forward. Two C.P propellers in fixed nozzels and two spade rudder will be arranged. One electrical driven C.P. transverse thruster will be arranged forward, the cargo will be located on the Main deck. The vessel will be primarily used for Anchor handling Tug, Supply Vessel etc. and various other operations as mentioned below:
Transport dry cement / barytes, fresh water, articles of food (in refrigerated containers), diesel oil, Aviation Turbine Fuel & Pour Point Depressant (both in portable tanks), stores, materials and equipment.
Tow / move jack - up drilling rigs.
Evacuate casualties aided by helicopter.
Handle anchors and accessories.
Rescue men fallen overboard.
Manoeuvre tankers closer to each other.
Act as emergency command centre.
Move men & material between Platforms.
Provide transit accommodation and medical aid to casualties.
Towing / moving jack up drilling rigs and having a maximum bollard pull of not less than 40 T.
